Livingston HealthCare, 320 Alpenglow Lane, Livingston, is a nonprofit, 25-bed critical access hospital with a Level 4 Community Trauma Facility, a multispecialty provider clinic, as well as rehabilitation and home-based services. Livingston HealthCare is an affiliate of the Billings Clinic system. Livingston HealthCare moved into a $45 million, 125,000 square-foot facility in 2015, that also features a family birthing center, sleep study clinic, infusion oncology, operating room, lab and imaging center.
Livingston HealthCare, recently named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the Nation, is Park County’s largest employer, providing jobs to about 350 area residents. The Livingston HealthCare Home Health department serves thousands of home-bound patients from throughout Park County from Cooke City to Gardiner to Wilsall and was recently named among the top 25 percent of home health care providers in the nation.
The public is always welcome to visit and eat at Café Fresh, an innovative cafeteria-style dining experience that features talented chefs who prepare fresh, locally sourced meals at an affordable price point. While there, visitors can enjoy the hospital’s donated collection of over 400 selections of local art, reflecting local scenes from well-known artists. Nestled near the banks of the Yellowstone River, adjacent to Livingston, the hospital grounds also feature a walking trail with interpretive installations and a solace garden with pergola.
