This adult-level, no experience necessary, workshop is beneficial for actors, tour guides, interpretive rangers, servers or anyone else who “performs” as an aspect of their job.
In this 2-day workshop, work on cultivating maximum liveness on stage--both in ourselves and the objects we bring with us. We'll investigate how to bring an ordinary object to life on stage, and how to develop a relationship with it. We'll also look within ourselves--at that which is most truly alive, honest, and fantastic--and practice bringing that into performance as well. This fun and engaging workshop can help boost performer confidence, deepen performer-audience engagement, and increase a performer's ability to use props (resources) in new and effective ways.
This workshop, valued at $120 per person, is being offered free of charge due to generous support from the Montana Arts Council and the Gardiner Resort Area District. But space is limited! Please email Nico Woos directly ([email protected]) to secure a spot.
The workshop will take place Saturday, January 26 & Sunday, January 27 from 10:00am - 4:00 pm at the Gardiner Community Center
*This workshop is intended for adults.
