It's a celebration of the Old West! Come join us on Saturday, May 25, 2019, as we kick off Memorial weekend with the annual Hell's A-Roarin' Horse Drive fundraising event. In today’s world, the romantic notion of the “wild west,” may seem to be just that, a romantic notion. But tucked up in the mountains of Yellowstone Country, it’s very much alive. Each spring, the Hell’s A-Roarin' Ranch moves their herd of horses from pasturing in eastern Montana. Come step back in time and watch as the horses are driven through Gardiner 9 miles to their mountain ranch located up a narrow, winding road to Jardine. The drive is followed by an evening filled with great people, BBQ Dinner, cowboy poetry, bidding auction, and dancing to Wylie & the Wild West! This year all proceeds will be used to purchase an Action Trackchair for a disabled Montana Veteran.
12 - 1 pm: Horse viewing at the Gardiner Rodeo Grounds.
1 pm: The horses leave the rodeo grounds and head home!
3 pm: Gates open at Jardine Rodeo Rounds (new venue, plenty of parking on level ground under a tent in case of inclement weather).
3 - 5 pm: Meet and Greet. No host bar and food is available. The Fall River Boys entertain while you peruse fine art and silent auction items. Tickets will be available for sale.
5 - 6 pm: Live fine art auction with professsional auctioneer Jason Owen.
7 - 10 pm: The dancing begins! Wylie and the Wild West will once again help us all kick up our heels!
